A Welcome Letter from Laura Smallwood, Head of School
Dear CoIS Community:
I would like to introduce myself as the new Head of School. I am delighted to be working with staff and parents during the upcoming school year. Although I have maintained a relationship with the school through summer camps, preschool work, and Saturday School since 2007, having been a teacher for the past year at Colorado International School has allowed me to learn about the amazing things that happen on a daily basis. It has been an enriching experience, and I am sure this next year will reflect more of it.
Going through the International Baccalaureate authorization is one vital part of our school’s goals and I am hoping to get all your support. Please be aware that just as in all the years of the school’s existence, you will be receiving regular updates in form of newsletters. Please stay current and involved.
Thank you for your continued support of excellent education and responsible citizenship at Colorado International School! We want to be your partner in seeing that your child becomes a world citizen as well as one with fluency in one or more other languages.
