Peggy Malchow Sass, Head of School
Peggy Malchow Sass is the Head of School at Colorado International School. A Colorado native, she has a B.A. in English from the University of Colorado and a J.D. from the University of Michigan. Ms. Peggy practiced law for 10 years and has also been a high school English teacher, an elementary language arts and social studies teacher, and the executive director of a nonprofit organization, as well as being self-employed for a number of years in a writing and editing business, The Hired Pen. Most important, Ms. Peggy was the Head of School at Colorado International School during its first two years of operation, from 2005 to 2007. Her daughter attended an immersion language school, and seeing the value of that kind of education in her own family has made Ms. Peggy a firm believer in the academic program offered at Colorado International School.
