About Ms. Shin
My name is Hua Hsin Wang, and I am the new member of the CoIS family. I was born in Taiwan and earned my M.S. degree of the Early and Middle Childhood Education from the Ohio State University. I’ll be teaching the preK Mandarin class which starts in November 3rd. As for the new class, the main topic of November is “greeting” and “I”. Except introducing the proper ways of greeting in Chinese culture, we also will work on the concept and facts about “I”. The detailed daily activity will be posted on the preK Mandarin bulletin board. I look forward to meeting you and your children.
您好。我的名字是王华欣，我是CoIS家族的新成员。我出生于台湾，在俄亥俄州立大学取得了早中期儿童教育的硕士学位。我负责教, 将在11月3日开始的，中文幼儿班。十一月的主题是“问候语”和“我”。除介绍一般中国问候语之外，我们也将学习关于“我”的概念。详细的日常活动将会张贴在中文幼儿班布告栏。我期待着与您和您的孩子见面。
幼儿学前中文部教育方案是以国际学位组织（International Baccalaureate Organization PYP）
课程为基础，为3-5 岁幼儿所设计的。老师对学生只用中文讲授课程，
使学生完全沉浸在中文的教学环境中以巩固学生之语言基础。
学生通过学习母语的方式来学习第二语言，让听，说和交流能实际运用在生活中，
这种沉浸式教学法是最有效也最自然的教学方案。
我们的老师是以中文为母语的老师，而且是经验丰富的幼儿学前教育专家，
他们不只是教语言，还将中国文化介绍给学生，增加学生接触多元文化的经验。
学校每年鼓励和支持老师接受国际学位组织（International Baccalaureate Organization PYP）
的培训。以提高老师的教学质量。
幼儿学前中文部教育方案将国际学位组织（International Baccalaureate Organization PYP）
的课程贯穿于读写，文学，数学，科学，体育，音乐和艺术各科目。
为学生继续小学和中学的教育提供完整的预备课程。
