We are glad that you are interested in providing your kid(s) with a top-notch international education at the first and only accredited (AdvancED) international immersion school in Denver, Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Region. Here are the typical steps to get started for full-time enrollment:

  1. Tour the School. Meet our students, teachers, and faculty. Get your questions answered. You can easily sign up for a tour here.
  2. If you like what you see, complete the application along with $100 nonrefundable application fee.
  3. Schedule a screening with our educational diagnostician. Also, 1st-8th grade-level students will receive subject-level testing in English and in program language (if applicable)
  4. Interview with Head of School.
  5. After all requirements are complete the Head of School in consultation with the teaching team will send a decision letter.
  6. If accepted, you will then meeting with Head of School to sign a contract. At this time you will setup tuition payments and make any mandatory nonrefundable fees if applicable to the program enrollment.

Admissions Overview

Colorado International School admits students of any religion, race, color, sex, national and ethnic origin, sexual orientation or disability to all the rights, programs and activities made available to students of the school.  It does not discriminate on the basis of religion, race, color, sex, national or ethnic origin, sexual orientation or disability in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarships, athletics or any other school programs.  Also, CoIS gives priority to full-time students in all grades. Because of the highly-individualized learning environment at CoIS, 1st-8th grade students do not need to be immersed to enter CoIS.

CoIS accepts students all year long.  Please note that forms differ depending on your child’s grade level. Please call our office if we can be of assistance in the application process.

In our beautiful new shared campus in Broomfield, Colorado, our PreK-8th Grade students attend CoIS full time, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.   Your tuition covers your student on-site from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
