Admissions Criteria
Colorado International School admits students of any religion, race, color, sex, national and ethnic origin, or sexual orientation, to all the rights, programs and activities made available to students of the school.  It does not discriminate on the basis of religion, race, color, sex, national and ethnic origin, or sexual orientation, in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarships, athletics or any other school programs.  Also, CoIS gives priority to full-time students in all grades. Because of the highly-individualized learning environment at CoIS, 1st-8th grade students do not need to be immersed to enter CoIS.

CoIS accepts students all year long. Unlike many other preschools, we do not ask that students wait until the fall to enroll. When a child reaches age 3, he or she may be enrolled regardless of the month. Elementary students are also welcome all year. Please note that forms differ depending on your child’s grade level. Please call our office if we can be of assistance in the application process.

Our elementary students attend CoIS full time, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.  Parents of children who are under 5 years old please note that our part-time program is five 1/2 days. A half day schedule is from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m, a full day schedule for both preschool and kindergarten students is 9:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
