The first week of camp is nearly over. Campers learned about ocean wildlife while immersed in their chosen languages – French, German, Spanish, and Mandarin spoken here this year. They visited Denver’s Downtown Aquarium on Wednesday, and made their own model aquariums with boxes, paint, and pictures.
Next week, we return to dry land, although we make no promises about staying dry as the weather* heats up. Campers will make and share culturally relevant food with each other. We will have Adventures with Animals, including a trip to the Denver Zoo.
Join us at 3:00 on Friday, June 25th, for project presentations, a cookie party, and school tours if you haven’t seen us before.
