CoIS Mandarin program students performed with Hanban Troupe from Harbin Normal University in China to celebrate Chinese New Year.  The celebration, which took place at Denver Academy, was beautiful, and taught CoIS students, DA students, and community members about the beginning of the lunar Year of the Rabbit.   The Year of the Rabbit began on February 3.    For more on 2011′s Chinese New Year, please view our Photos on Flickr!

An alumnus from Colorado International School’s first ever graduating class, Quinn, now in high school, has recently been awarded National Merit Commended Scholar! He is the first student from any Denver language immersion school to receive such an honor. Congratulations, Quinn!

The Colorado International School Destination Imagination team, the “International Dragon Princesses”, competed on Saturday, March 14 and took 2nd place! Our team is now preparing to compete at the State Level on Satruday, April 18th! Please join us in congratulating them!!
