Day Camps & Mountain Camps Summer 2012
for students ages 3-18.
In both Day and Mountain Camps our highly qualified native-speaking staff members offer your child the highest quality summer camp experience in a small learning environment. Each camp offers a variety of linguistic, cultural, culinary, artistic, and athletic activities with monthly themes. Academics, Arts, Athletics, and Achievement—all in an American international setting!
Mountain Camps (ages 7-18) – 2012 Dates:
Session 1 (June 11-22)
Session 2 (July 9-20)
Session 3 (July 30-August 10)
Combine full Language Immersion with exciting mountain adventures in the Colorado Rockies. Your children will experience lasting memories, adventure and laughter at one of two YMCA of the Rockies location (Estes Park or Granby), while immersing themselves in German, Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, Farsi, Russian, Japanese, Italian, and Arabic language and culture!
Mountain Camp Counselors – Teen Leadership Development (ages 15 – 18)
Teen Mountain Camp Counselors Session (July 8-21, 2012): offers Teen Leadership Development for older teens who are interested in becoming Mountain Camp Counselors for future camp sessions. Teens are given the opportunities to gain leadership training and development while improving, building and maintaining their world language skills. As a Teen Mountain Camp Counselor, teens are involved with all camp activities and experiences. Activities included at Mountain Camp:
- Cultural Activities
- Exploration of the Rocky Mountains, ecosystems, geology and solar effects.
- Wilderness, orienteering and survival skills
- Canoeing
- Rock Climbing
- Hiking
- Leadership Training …..And much, much more!

Our Day Camps
Our two week language-immersion Day Camps in German, Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, Japanese, Italian, Arabic, and Farsi for younger children grades pre-kindergarten – (entering) 2nd.
Campers 7 years or older: sign up for one of our special mountain camps in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Each camp offers a variety of linguistic, cultural, culinary, artistic, and athletic activities with monthly themes. Academics, Arts, Athletics, and Achievement—all in an American international setting!
